I am pleased to share with you the image that I designed for the next film of the photojournalist Nazim Dastan. He followed the Ezidi Genocide carried out by Isid in 2014 at various times and documented the narration of the witnesses.
When I received the commission to create the image for his film I connected immediately with the words of the President of Visa Pour l'Image for 2019:
"Photojournalist friends, awaken our consciousness and furrow the world to help us in our search for truth." — Jean-François Leroy
This is a film about people, this is their truth and their fight: to be free, to be visible. The search for truth.
